The hurrycane Harry is marching on and is scoring more goals for England making him the second top scorer for his country.
He is now on the verge of becoming England’s all-time leading goalscorer and soon, he may topple Manchester United’s star Wayne Rooney who is still standing in his way.
The Tottenham Hotspurs striker has been prolific for England since his debut for the Three Lions against tiny Lithuania in March 2015.
Kane has so far scored 51 goals in 74 appearances in the England shirt. He has also led England to the 2018 World Cup semi-finals and the Euro 2020 final.
The impact of Kane on the country’s football is undoubted and he is only 2 goals shy of Rooney’s 53 for England.
Rooney has appeared 120 times for England and this gives Kane a better average than the current Derby County manager. Besides Manchester United, Rooney has also played for Liverpool rivals Everton and DC United in the United States.
There is one thing Kane cannot take away from Rooney though. It is the fact that Rooney became the very first player in England’s soccer history to score 50 goals for the country.

It is amazing though that Bobby Charlton is still anchored at no 3 in the top goal scorers list for England with 49 goals for 106 caps.
Kane has also scored 6 goals for England in the 2018 World Cup which makes him a great among the great strikers for His Majesty’s soccer formation.
He has three goals in eight matches so far in 2022 and fans are hoping that he will net more goals for Tottenham as well as for England.

Harry Kane broke records, scoring the 1000th goal for Tottenham
Harry Kane has scored more goals for a single team in the Premier League’s history. This happened after a victory for Tottenham against the Wolverhampton Wanderers. Tottenham, similar to Arsenal, has been on a streak early in the season.
Tottenham defeated the Wolves at a 1-0 score on Saturday, thus maintaining their pristine record so far. This is also after winning against Southampton and having a draw with Chelsea which lead to their respective coaches having an argument.
Harry Kane has also increased his goal tally to 185. Even previous high scorer Sergio Aguero had 184 goals and he played for Manchester City for about 10 seasons. Kane has beaten two records at the same time, which is for his own personal record and the team’s record.
He scored the 1000th goal and since 1992, only five other teams have reached this record, namely, Liverpool, Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United. Tottenham has officially joined their ranks now.
According to reports, Kane has officially moved ahead of Aguero in the category of the all-time leading scorers. Now he is only two goals behind striker Andrew Cole, who has played for Newcastle, Blackburn and Manchester United.
The highest scorer in the English Premier League is Alan Shearer, who currently has 260 goals under his belt. This means that Kane still needs to score 76 more goals in order to beat Shearer’s record.
To beat that record, Kane needs to score 13 goals for each season for the next six years. This would also depend on how long he would continue to be a striker. He is currently 29 years old, not as young as a lot of the players in the league.
Furthermore, as stated by the BBC, Kane has the best scoring ratio of (0.70) per game, placing him forward against Thierry Henry (0.68) and Sergio Aguero (0.67) who are the best scorers this season. However, Shearer has the highest ratio at (0.81). He achieved that by scoring 112 goals in 138 games while being in one club.
Antonio Conte, Tottenham’s current coach has been an admirer of Kane even before his tenure at Tottenham. While he was handling Chelsea back in 2017, he stated his intention to work with Kane. However, times have changed and they’re working together in a different club.
“For me, Kane, now, is one of the best strikers in the world. If I had to buy one striker I would go to Kane, right. He is a complete striker. He is strong physically, with the ball, without the ball, he fights and he’s strong in the air and acrobatic on the right and the left. He’s a complete player,” as said by Conte back in 2017.
Antonio Conte vowed to “win something” with Harry Kane after the striker became Tottenham’s joint record scorer as his 266th goal for the club sealed a vital 1-0 win against Fulham on Monday.England captain Kane netted on the stroke of half-time with a clinical strike from the edge of the penalty area at Craven Cottage.
Jimmy Greaves’ Tottenham record had stood since 1970, but Kane’s first goal in his last three appearances gave him a share of the historic milestone.
Kane played despite being ill with a fever and Tottenham boss Conte admitted he is desperate to reward the selfless star with silverware.
Without a major trophy for club and country, Kane has been linked with Manchester United.

But Conte said: “Today he was amazing. I think he scored a fantastic goal, the execution, to control the ball, then to kick it in that way, only a world-class striker can score this goal.
“About the spirit that I spoke before, I want to underline Harry played with a fever and he was not so good, but he wanted to play because he understood the moment.
“He understood he is a point of reference for us. For sure, I would like to help him and me, also his team-mates, to try to do something important, to win something with Tottenham because he loves Tottenham.
“Tottenham is in his heart and it should be good if together we were able to win something, because then it is important to have this record, but I think it could be more important if you win a trophy.”
Kane could break Greaves’ record in Tottenham’s next match in the FA Cup fourth round at second tier Preston on Saturday.
It is only a matter of time before Kane takes sole possession of Tottenham’s most hallowed record.
That remarkable achievement would have seemed impossible during a difficult start to his career that featured several failed loan spells before he finally emerged as a star.
Greaves, who died aged 81 in 2021, is regarded as one of the most natural goal scorers in football history.
A member of England’s 1966 World Cup-winning squad, who netted 44 times for his country, Greaves is the highest scorer in English top-flight history with 357 goals.
For Kane to be alongside such a legendary player is a tribute to his predatory instincts and his perseverance.
The 29-year-old is now one short of becoming the third player to net 200 Premier League goals, after Alan Shearer (260) and Wayne Rooney (208).
Kane’s 18th goal
Kane also drew level with Rooney as England’s joint record goalscorer after bagging his 53rd international goal in the World Cup quarter-final defeat against France in December.
Thanks to Kane’s 18th goal in all competitions this season, fifth placed Tottenham closed the gap on fourth placed Manchester United to three points.
It was a much-needed result after successive defeats against Manchester City and Arsenal damaged Tottenham’s bid to qualify for next season’s Champions League via a top four finish.
Conte’s team had conceded 21 goals in their previous 10 league matches.
So, while Kane rightly took the spotlight, Conte was just as pleased by his players’ defensive resilience.
“It was a big win. I had a good answer from my players. I asked them for solidity of the last season and the will and desire to fight and to be resilient,” Conte said.
Failing to turn their first half pressure into goals proved fatal for Fulham as Kane entered the record books in first half stoppage-time.
Turning on the edge of the Fulham area, Kane worked a yard of space before curling a superb strike past Bernd Leno.
The record-equalling goal was met with sarcastic chants of ‘one-season wonder’ from Tottenham fans, who recalled the doubting response to his first prolific season for the club.
Kane almost had the outright record in the second half, but Leno tipped over his close-range header.
After the awful injury that plagued Son Heung-Min right before the World Cup which he had to wear a special mask for, it appears that he is back on his A-game. He also played his best for South Korea in the World Cup.
Harry Kane and Son both would make an amazing combo for Tottenham. Just yesterday, there were rumours of Antonio Conte wanting to leave the troubled club as there appears to be internal problems within the club.
However, both Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane are carrying the whole team on their backs. Just recently, they have scored the most goals combined in the Premier League, beating Liverpool’s Mo Salah.
They both have created history by beating Crystal Palace in a 4-0 match.
After Crystal Palace controlled Tottenham for the majority of the first half at Selhurst Park, few would have predicted the decisive score at the break. However, the visitors quickly got going at the beginning of the second half, with Kane scoring a quick double in the 48th and 53rd minutes.

After Son scored his first Premier League goal since his hat-trick against Leicester on September 17 in the 68th minute, Matt Doherty made it three for Spurs. This turned out to be a historic goal, as Son and Kane now have the most Premier League goals scored by a team.
Son Heung-Min’s remarks about his score
The South Korean player stated, “This is a difficult place to come and play well. I think we deserved it, in the second half we dominated the game and scored four beautiful goals.
“[My goal] was about time! It felt amazing. To be honest I felt really sorry for the team because I think they were expecting more than what I’ve done.
“I hope today was the turning point, getting back the confidence and I will continue to help the team.”
Harry Kane decided to post the good news on his Twitter account and the traction gained from his postings were a lot. One fan even stated, “I have no friends. I have no girlfriend. I have no job. I have no money. I have no hobbies. I have no home. All I have is Kane. When I needed something, Kane was there for me. Kane is my life, my passion, and my faith. I love Kane.”
He has been dubbed as the greatest English football player by fans due to the Crystal Palace win. Some are even suggesting that Kane should move to Manchester United or another bigger club to grow his career further.
Similar things are being said about Son but the main focus was on Harry Kane.
BESIDES the World Cup trophy, the next awesome award is the ‘Golden Boot’.
It’s a special recognition given to the player who scores the most goals at a World Cup, and the race is hotly contested, close to the halfway stage for this prestigious prize at Qatar 2022.
Previous winners include France legend Just Fontaine, who scored 13 in 1954, a record tally at a single World Cup which still stands; Portugal’s Eusebio, who scored nine goals in 1966; England’s Gary Lineker, who scored eight goals in 1986; Ronaldo, who scored eight as Brazil won the 2002 World Cup; and the current England captain Harry Kane who scored six goals last time out in Russia.
TIE BREAKERS
The organisers hand out a gold, silver and bronze prize for goalscorers.
Previously players with the same number of goals would share awards, but nowadays they are split by tie-breakers: first, who scored the fewest penalties; then who collected the most Fifa-approved assists; then who has played the fewest minutes.
England’s Marcus Rashford is tied among a few strikers for this elite award with three goals so far. The others are Enner Valencia (Ecuador), Kylian Mbappe (France), Cody Gakpo (Netherlands), Alvaro Morata (Spain) and Lionel Messi (Argentina).
It could be anybody’s prize and nice to know that there’s a fair contest.
