During the 2020 lockout, Olivia Dunne, an exceptional gymnast at LSU, gained immense popularity via her TikTok videos. With more than 10 million fans, this 21-year-old phenomenon has captured the attention of viewers all around the world. She made fun of her boyfriend’s attention to a New Orleans Saints game in a recent post, expressing her own fascination with the cheering routines. Her quick ascent to fame is highlighted by her transformation from a gymnast sharing routines to a billionaire influencer.
Paul Skenes was chosen as the Pittsburgh Pirates’ number-one pick in the 2023 MLB Draft due to his outstanding performance at LSU, where he posted a 12-2 record and an incredible 1.69 ERA. Olivia Dunne, on the other hand, profited greatly from the 2021 NCAA rule change that let collegiate athletes make money off of their reputation and name. According to recent reports, Dunne’s incredible financial success in 2023 was highlighted when it was reported that she made a whopping $50,000 for a single social media post.
Dunne shared; “BREAKING – Per sources close to Paul Skenes, it’s believed that the former LSU star and Pittsburgh Pirates #1 overall pick is indeed dating LSU gymnast and TikTok star Olivia “Livvy,” an article from sportskeeda.com mentioned.
Mo Sports said; “Dunne was spotted at the Pirates’ complex in Bradenton, FL with a Pirates hoodie on,” an article from sportskeeda.com shared.
The athletic power pair Olivia Dunne and Paul Skenes is quickly developing
With an ever-growing social media presence, LSU’s dynamic combo is dominating attention and gaining a spotlight comparable to that of baseball’s legendary power couple, Justin Verlander and Kate Upton. With Paul Skenes’ probable MLB debut drawing near, there’s a lot of excitement for 2024. Olivia Dunne’s social media skills could propel Paul Skenes into a baseball superstar before he even takes the field. Their collaboration suggests a meteoric ascent to become one of the league’s most renowned players, paving the way for a new era of social media and sports convergence.
Olivia Dunne, a 21-year-old American social media influencer, has risen to the top of the game. She draws from her experience as an LSU gymnast to proudly embrace her roots despite her youth. By posting videos of her gymnastics routines on TikTok and Instagram during the 2020 COVID-19 shutdown, Dunne first became well-known. Her material grew beyond gymnastics as her follower count increased, exhibiting a wide range of interesting topics that established her as a rising star in the social media realm.
Olivia Dunne, who has amassed millions of followers on TikTok, recently showcased her New Jersey roots in a funny video that parodies the traditional state accent. In a lighthearted reference to her LSU classmates’ incessant demands to hear her speak “coffee,”
Dunne alluded to her growing fatigue with the Southern impact on her speech. She disclosed earlier this year her relationship with the tall 6-foot-6 pitcher Paul Skenes, who is hoping to make it to the major leagues. Skenes graduated from LSU with a 1.92 ERA. In June 2023, Skenes showed off his skill and promise in the major leagues by being selected as the number one choice by the Pittsburgh Pirates.

Rising pop culture icon Olivia Dunne has attracted attention fast, but not without difficulties. She is traveling with security and staying away from in-person classes because of worries for her safety. Positively, she received a $500,000 payout for a social media post, and the 2021 NCAA rule change that permits athletes to make money off of their name and likeness has helped her income considerably.
Dunne has skillfully turned the tables on negativity in the context of a sizable fan base by using it as a source of creative inspiration. Her success can be attributed to her amazing ability to turn jokes made about her into interesting content. Her rise to prominence has been largely attributed to her distinctive attitude, among other things. Her creative approach is crucial to her success since it not only engages but also enthralls her audience.
Olivia Dunne recently shared some pictures of herself on Instagram after gymnastics practice, showing off how she looks after working out. A humorous comment left beneath the picture by Dunne’s sister mocked her in a lighthearted manner. Dunne’s commitment is evident as she works hard to improve her talents in the gym, especially since LSU’s season began in January. Her supporters responded enthusiastically to the glimpses of her progress, demonstrating their eagerness for what lies ahead.
Olivia’s Instagram selfies created a surge of admiration as the well-known athlete proudly displayed her natural beauty, which was perfectly matched with a Vuori Collection top that added an extra touch of sophistication. Astonished admirers showered in with statements calling Olivia the pinnacle of beauty and praising her glowing “post-practice glow” as something that’s just unrivaled.
Julz Dunne added; “Show the Chick-fil-A on the passenger seat, you’re not fooling anyone, big guy,” an article from sportskeeda.com mentioned.
Her influence is becoming more and more apparent on a global scale, as evidenced by her most recent collection of fitness wear. She received an incredible 480,000 likes on a series of post-workout photos, which is proof of her extraordinary degree of popularity and reach in today’s digital world.

Her ascent to stardom is only surpassed by their unwavering devotion. By adding pitcher Kenta Maeda, a free agent, to their roster, the Detroit Tigers have achieved a major victory. Maeda’s signing adds a fresh degree of enthusiasm to the team, which finished the 2023 season with an outstanding 39-34 record.
Maeda will make $10 million in 2025 and $14 million in the next 2024 season thanks to the two-year, $24 million deal he signed with Detroit. As the Tigers prepare for the upcoming seasons, this intriguing signing represents a significant boost.
An accomplished pitcher at 36, recovered from Tommy John surgery and missed 2022. Despite the loss, he pitched for the Minnesota Twins in 20 games, recording a 6-8 record, a 4.23 ERA, and 117 strikeouts in 104.1 innings. He still has a strong desire to play the game, as evidenced by his skill and tenacity in returning.
Kenta Maeda signs with the Twins’ opponents
The Detroit Tigers extended an offer to Kenta Maeda that exceeded the Minnesota Twins’ one-year target in an attempt to re-sign him. Since Maeda is still in the division, it is common for former players to do well against clubs they used to play for.
With Maeda expected to put up a few big performances against them, the Twins may regret this choice.
Detroit Tigers secured their rotation by taking a calculated risk, as Eduardo Rodriguez might leave in the winter. Rodriguez is a highly sought-after starter in the market who could be expensive to re-sign. But by taking this proactive measure, the Tigers won’t have to worry about replacing the seasoned starter.
They are now concentrating on strengthening the team’s lineup. Detroit hopes to strengthen its middle infield by pursuing free agents and taking into consideration talents such as Adam Frazier or Amed Rosario.
They can now chase players who fit their system more easily, making their off-season priorities more optimal.
The golden girls of Team USA who sprinted, hurdled and jumped to glory at the 2024 Paris Olympics are the queens of hearts, adored by their fans and their wanna-be, presumptive and legal spouses. Yes, Gabby Thomas, Sha’Carri Richardson, Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone and Masai Russel are all taken, rumoured to be taken, or already taken. Here are the men in their lives.
Gabby Thomas
Gabby Thomas and McManes
Olympics 200-metre champion Gabby Thomas is dating young entrepreneur and Ivy Leaguer Spencer McManes. He can understand the pressure she is under as a former athlete himself.
McManes played quarterback for Yale in his college years.
Gabby, 27, and the Yalie met in 2022 and have been going strong ever since. He was there for her in Paris, cheering her on to a golden treble – pure gold in the 200 metres, 4×100 metres, 4×400 metres.
Not just a jock, McManes, 29, has a degree in political science. After briefly holding a job, he got into business himself and owns a non-alcoholic kava seltzer brand called Kaviva. It promises to give you “the perfect buzz” without a hangover. The drink is touted to be “athlete approved”. By Gabby, no doubt. She just loves the guy behind the drink. Cheers.
Sha’Carri Richardson
Sha’Carri Richardson and Coleman
Sprint queen Sha’Carri Richardson, 24, is rumoured to be dating fellow sprinter Christian Coleman. Though not officially confirmed, the two clearly became a twosome almost a year ago when they started going out at the 2023 World Championships in Budapest, Hungary. They have been showing up at each other’s events and spotted “getting cosy” on a number of occasions, including a night out in Paris after the Olympics.
One of them had reason to celebrate. Richardson won silver in the 100-metre before anchoring Team USA to 4×100-metre relay gold, but Coleman was out of luck. He missed out on the 100-metre and 200-metre and fumbled in the 4×100-metre relay, where the US team was disqualified because rules were broken in the baton exchange between him and Kenny Bednarek. Too bad, but, at least, he’s got the girl.
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone
Two-time Olympic gold medalist Sydney McLaughlin officially tied the knot with former NFL player Andre Levrone Jr. 💍
— NBC Olympics & Paralympics (@NBCOlympics) May 10, 2022
Sydney McLaughlin-Levrone, 25, kept faith with her fans, winning Olympic gold in the 400-metre hurdles as they expected, easily outstripping the world champion Femke Bol in Paris.
She has kept faith with her boyfriend, too.
McLaughlin-Levrone is married to Andre Levrone Jr, who graduated from the University of Virginia in 2017 and played three seasons as a wide receiver in the NFL. They got engaged in August 2021 and tied the knot in May 2022.
Faith is important in both their lives.
Devout Christians, McLaughlin-Levrone and her husband are part of Grace Community Church in Los Angeles. Andre is enrolled at The Master’s Seminary, which trains people for the ministry, and is affiliated with the church.
McLaughlin-Levrone’s twin golds in Paris – in the 400-metre hurdles and 4×400-metre relay — called for a celebration. So she and her spouse are off to a holiday in Greece.
Tara Davis-Woodhall
Olympics long jump champion Tara Davis-Woodhall’s life is a touching love story. She is married to Paralympian and double amputee Hunter Woodhall. (See picture at the top of the page.) Their love story began at a track meet in Idaho in 2017. It was a long-distance love affair, with Woodhall competing in Arkansas and Davis-Woodhall in Georgia and Texas, but distance cannot dampen true love.
Both competed at the Tokyo Olympics. Davis-Woodhall finished sixth in the long jump and Woodhall clinched bronze in the 400-metre at the Paralympics.
The lovers then got engaged in September 2021 and married in October 2022. Davis-Woodhall, 25, has got even better since marriage. She won gold in Paris.
Melissa Jefferson
Melissa Jefferson
Melissa Jefferson, 23, won bronze in the 100-metre and gold in the 4×100-metre relay in Paris. The Olympic success follows another personal milestone. Jefferson got engaged to her college sweetheart, Rolan Wooden II, in October 2023.
Wooden, a former Coastal Carolina football player, proposed at a beach picnic, a moment Jefferson happily shared with her followers on Instagram.
The couple met at Coastal Carolina University and Jefferson’s post-engagement Olympic success is a prelude to more happy years.
Masai Russel
Masai Russel, 24, who became an overnight star winning gold in the 100 metres hurdles, broke into tears after her victory. She was overwhelmed she won at the Olympics.
The newly-crowned champion also wrote a note to her boyfriend Robbie Springfield, thanking him for never giving up on her. They have reportedly been together since college, both having competed for the University of Kentucky. Springfield works in collegiate sports as an assistant at the Morehead State Cross Country team. Specializing in sprints and jumps, he is just the man to help his girlfriend on and off the track as well.
